ORIGINS

My father was a Harley-Davidson® mechanic and my mother worked as a freelance digital designer for a local manufacturer. They raised me and my younger brother in Battle Creek, Michigan, a.k.a. Cereal City. My first full-time job was with a global auto parts manufacturer there in the HR department.

Despite my industrial roots, I've always had an interest in the arts. This was the initial focus of my education through fine art, photography, and graphic design studies. Over time it became clear that a business degree would provide a solid foundation no matter which avenue I chose. In an effort to find a perfect balance of creativity and business, I chose advertising as my major.

The birthplace of Gibson Guitars and Bell's Beer (Kalamazoo, Michigan) is where I earned my bachelor's degree at WMU and began my exciting career in marketing. My career has allowed me to travel the world and meet many fascinating people.

Today, I proudly call  San Antonio, Texas my home where I'm a busy Marketing Events Manager for a multi-billion dollar supply chain company. My goal is to one day own my own business and work from anywhere, while I explore the world.
